Deck overview

This Dimir Zombie Aristocrats deck is led by Gisa and Geralf, focusing on self-mill, graveyard recursion, and explosive sacrifice loops. The primary game plan accelerates early mana through artifacts and rituals, establishes a token or sacrifice engine on Turn 4, and threatens a game-ending combo by Turn 5. The primary win condition loops Gravecrawler with a sacrifice outlet like Carrion Feeder, Warren Soultrader, or Ashnod's Altar, fueled by Rooftop Storm to repeatedly trigger drain effects from Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, or Bontu's Monument. In the absence of a direct combo, the deck controls the battlefield using asymmetric attrition engines like Grave Pact and Noxious Ghoul to repeatedly clear opposing creatures while building an overwhelming undead army. Robust card draw from Undead Augur and Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver ensures steady resource flow. The deck recovers rapidly from board wipes through its commander's innate recursion.
