Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Assassin typal strategy built entirely around the lethal alternate win condition of Ramses, Assassin Lord. Rather than grinding down all three opponents simultaneously across 120 total life, the deck focuses its resources on eliminating a single opponent through combat damage or the instant-kill activation of Vorpal Sword. Early turns establish unblockable or evasive attackers such as Changeling Outcast and Basim Ibn Ishaq, followed by protective equipment and typal buffs. Once Ramses, Assassin Lord is on the battlefield, attacking a vulnerable opponent and reducing them to zero life immediately triggers the commander's ability to win the entire game. While the deck features efficient single-target interaction and swift same-turn finishes once an opponent falls, its high reliance on keeping fragile creatures in play over multiple turns leaves it vulnerable to sweepers and well-timed removal.
