Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Reanimator strategy piloted by Marchesa, Dealer of Death. It blends targeted interaction, graveyard velocity, and large reanimation targets to control the table and close games through combat. The game plan centers on using early looting and entomb effects like Buried Alive, Vile Entomber, and Faithless Looting to deposit game-ending creatures such as Archon of Cruelty, Vilis, Broker of Blood, and Massacre Wurm into the graveyard. On Turn 4, cheap reanimation spells return these monsters to the battlefield, creating a decisive advantage on Turn 5. Marchesa, Dealer of Death acts as an efficient value engine, turning every targeted removal spell, edict, and discard effect into card selection. With redundant recursion, mass reanimation spells like Breach the Multiverse, and versatile removal, the deck grinds down opposing resources and delivers lethal combat damage across successive turns.
