Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Gruul landfall game plan that converts rapid land acceleration into wide token boards and large trampling attackers. In the early turns, it develops mana using efficient ramp spells such as Exploration, Cultivate, and Harrow. On turn 4, casting Phylath, World Sculptor generates a swarm of 0/1 Plant tokens scaled to the number of basic lands on the battlefield. The deck then leverages explosive landfall enablers including Scapeshift, fetchlands, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum to distribute massive stacks of +1/+1 counters across its creatures. Substantial burst card draw from Skullclamp, Rishkar's Expertise, and Return of the Wildspeaker keeps the hand full of additional threats. Combat trample enablers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Kodama of the West Tree push lethal damage past blockers to close the game on turn 6.
