Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan toughness-matters midrange strategy commanded by Betor, Kin to All. The primary game plan accelerates early mana through a dense suite of one-mana and two-mana dorks, casting Betor on Turn 4 to unlock repeatable end-step card draw and untap triggers. Once assembled, the deck deploys toughness-combat enablers like Doran, the Siege Tower, Ancient Lumberknot, and Bedrock Tortoise to turn bulky defenders into devastating attackers. Massive toughness anchors such as The Walls of Ba Sing Se and Tree of Perdition rapidly push board toughness past the 20 and 40 thresholds, triggering Betor's life-halving ability and untapping your entire army for defense. The deck closes games around Turn 7 using overwhelming combat swings empowered by Akroma's Will or the doubled life loss of Bloodletter of Aclazotz. A robust removal package and instant-speed protective spells keep the engine running against opposing disruption.
