Deck overview

This deck is a five-color aggro and midrange engine centered on partner commanders Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. The strategy revolves around generating artifact Food and creature tokens to trigger Leonardo's ability, placing +1/+1 counters on your entire team every turn. Michelangelo initiates this loop by attacking early and creating Food tokens during the second main phase. As your board expands, powerful counter doublers such as Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, and Corpsejack Menace rapidly inflate creature power and toughness. Finisher cards like Sovereign Okinec Ahau, Raphael, the Muscle, Herald of Secret Streams, and Leonardo's full-color activation provide decisive evasion and trample damage to close games through combat. A dedicated suite of low-cost instant protection spells ensures your board survives opposing removal and wipes.
