Deck overview

This Grixis deck is a midrange amass machine helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. It aims to create a single enormous Army token with amass abilities, then break through with evasion and extra combat. Secondary paths include generating a horde of Wraiths with Lord of the Nazgul and using the Blasphemous Act + Fall of Cair Andros interaction to convert a board wipe into a massive Army burst. The hidden commander is Sauron, Lord of the Rings, which provides an instant amass burst and reanimation when cast from hand. The commander's ring-tempt draw engine fuels hand advantage and recovers from board wipes.
