Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange aggro-stompy build led by partner commanders Michelangelo, the Heart and Leonardo, the Balance. The core game plan establishes an automated counter-and-token engine: attacking with Michelangelo generates Food tokens in the postcombat main phase, which triggers Leonardo to distribute +1/+1 counters across the entire team every turn. As the board widens and grows, counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season rapidly inflate creature stats. The deck finishes games through overwhelming combat damage, utilizing evasion from Herald of Secret Streams, double damage from Raphael, the Muscle, or Leonardo's five-color activation granting menace, trample, and lifelink. A premium interaction and protection package—featuring Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, Deadly Rollick, and Teferi's Protection—shields the board from opposing disruption while advancing toward a lethal Turn 8 table elimination.
