Budget Beorn by Mr.MilesJr

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce is a mono-green Bear-tribal combat deck. The primary plan is to accelerate into Beorn on turn four or five, use his +2/+2 lord effect to make cheap Bears into real threats, and refill with his combat draw once three Bears are on board. Ayula, Queen Among Bears acts as a hidden commander, adding counters and fight-based removal. Secondary wins come from token makers such as Grizzly Fate and Titania's Command, then mass-pump finishers Unnatural Growth and Beastmaster Ascension. With trample from Beorn, Garruk's Uprising, Goreclaw, or Surrak and Goreclaw, the deck pressures from every angle. The main interaction is fight spells and artifact/enchantment removal; there is no counterspell protection, so it relies on speed and mass protection.
