Shantotto by user2065196

Format: Commander

Commander: Shantotto, Tactician Magician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shantotto, Tactician Magician is a spells-matter commander who turns every noncreature spell into a pump and, when the spell costs four or more, an extra card. The deck is built to exploit that trigger: it packs a high density of cantrips, impulse draws, burn, and storm/token effects, with Ral, Storm Conduit and Electrostatic Field as secondary engines and Fire Servant as a damage multiplier. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander; Ral effectively plays the role of a second engine. The primary plan is to chain instants/sorceries, draw extra cards off Shantotto, and finish with token swarms plus repeated pings, while a big-mana voltron swing is a secondary path.
