Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and wheel deck piloted by Rielle, the Everwise. Its core engine revolves around casting efficient discard and wheel spells—such as Tolarian Winds, Breakthrough, and Windfall—to trigger Rielle's ability, converting discard costs into substantial net card advantage. As instants and sorceries accumulate in the graveyard, Rielle grows into a formidable lethal commander threat capable of eliminating opponents through combat, supported by evasion from Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive and protection like Lightning Greaves and Slip Out the Back. Auxiliary strategies incorporate planeswalker loyalty burn via All Will Be One, token generation from Occult Epiphany, and high-end creature transformation through Mass Polymorph. While the deck churns through cards at rapid rates once Rielle is active, its reliance on commander presence and graveyard density requires deliberate sequencing around opposing removal.
