Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed competitive Mardu combo deck centered on fast mana, Ad Nauseam, Underworld Breach, and compact infinite creature loops. The commander, Celes, Rune Knight, provides immediate card sculpting upon entry and turns any persist creature—such as Putrid Goblin, Lesser Masticore, or Murderous Redcap—into an infinite sacrifice engine by placing a +1/+1 counter on entering creatures to cancel their -1/-1 persist counters. Supported by zero-mana sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment and Blasting Station, the deck converts these loops into instant table-wide lethal damage. It also commands independent win lines through Dualcaster Mage paired with Molten Duplication and classic Underworld Breach storm lines. With dense fast mana and top-tier tutors, the deck consistently presents protected, game-winning turns by Turn 2 or 3 while insulating itself using proactive silence effects like Grand Abolisher and Silence.
