Commander: Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher leads a midrange Orzhov aristocrats deck that turns creature deaths into life loss, card advantage, and Vampire tokens. The primary plan is to establish cheap Vampires and sacrifice outlets, drain with Blood Artist effects, and use Carmen's attack trigger to recur permanents from the graveyard. Secondary plans are Vampire beatdown under anthems (Sanctum Seeker, Radiant Destiny, Sorin) and an infinite death trigger loop with Teysa Karlov, Pitiless Plunderer, Reassembling Skeleton, a sacrifice outlet, and a drainer. Teysa is the hidden engine of the list: doubling every relevant death trigger is what makes the loop mana-positive and turns chip damage into a table kill.
