Deck overview

This deck is a Simic midrange strategy centered on partner commanders Donatello, the Brains and Michelangelo, the Heart. The game plan establishes Michelangelo on Turn 2 and Donatello on Turn 3. Attacking with Michelangelo triggers Raid to place +1/+1 counters and create Food tokens, which Donatello upgrades by adding Mutagen tokens. These tokens feed an expanding board of Mutant and Turtle creatures that scale in power using counter amplifiers like Doubling Season, High Score, and Arcade Cabinet. The deck disrupts opponents with tactical bite spells, targeted transmutation, and the asymmetric board reset Wave Goodbye, which clears blockers without counters. Once a critical mass of power is assembled, the deck closes the game around Turn 6 to 8 through overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede and evasive combat pushes led by Leatherhead, Iron Gator and Baxter, Fly in the Ointment.
