Deck overview

This deck is an Esper combat-tempo build commanded by Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima. The strategy leverages Jin Sakai's solo-attacker trigger to grant either unblockable evasion (Ghost) or double strike (Standoff), creating massive value from combat damage triggers. Early turns focus on developing mana rocks and evasive setup pieces. By turns 4 and 5, Jin Sakai enters and attacks, drawing cards and enabling ninjutsu and sneak mechanics. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions into lethal pressure with life-halving threats like Unstoppable Slasher and Quietus Spike, alongside high-value saboteurs like Fallen Shinobi and Silent-Blade Oni. A solid package of cheap counterspells and spot removal defends the board and disrupts critical opposing plays. Because the deck must eliminate three opponents sequentially in combat, it relies on unblockability, hexproof equipment, and reactive interaction to maintain tempo and finish the table by turn 9.
