Deck overview

This mono-green deck executes a focused beatdown plan centered on its commander, Ghalta, Primal Hunger. By deploying severely undercosted, high-power creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus in the opening turns, the deck rapidly satisfies Ghalta's cost reduction requirement. On turn 4, Ghalta enters for a minimal mana investment, leaving open resources to trigger potent card-draw engines like Garruk's Uprising or Greater Good. With 12 power on the battlefield, draw spells yield massive card advantage that restocks the hand with protection spells, additional beaters, and decisive overruns such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While the list possesses minimal stack interaction and no proactive stax pieces, its raw board presence and ability to recover quickly through independent heavy hitters allow it to steadily overrun the table and close games around turn 7.
