Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color control and cheat-into-play strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around generating cheap creature tokens in the opening turns using resilient permanents like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On turn 4, the deck deploys Jace and immediately uses his -3 loyalty ability to transform a token into one of twenty game-ending threats, including Blightsteel Colossus, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Archon of Cruelty. Cheated creatures quickly lock down opposing resources and deal lethal combat damage across subsequent turns. The list also features a compact two-card infinite creature combo between Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror. A solid suite of low-cost interaction and free protection spells shields the game plan while the deck grinds down the table.
