Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-red midrange strategy centered on Smaug the Magnificent. It accumulates Treasure tokens to fuel explosive mana velocity, card advantage, and lethal direct damage. Early turns focus on deploying low-curve token generators like Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer and Magda, Brazen Outlaw. Once Smaug enters the battlefield, his natural haste allows him to attack immediately, triggering direct burn based on your total Treasure count. Force multipliers like The Reaver Cleaver, Goldspan Dragon, and Roaming Throne rapidly scale your Treasure stockpile into double-digit figures. This turns Smaug's attack trigger into a repeated removal engine and face-melting win condition. Redirection spells defend your board while extra combat steps and secondary Dragon threats close out the table across Turns 6 and 7.
