Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools with Anara, Wolvid Familiar to form a resilient superfriends and aristocrats engine. The deck focuses on ramping into Tevesh Szat by Turn 4 to generate continuous Thrull tokens and draw up to three cards per turn. Anara ensures Tevesh enjoys indestructible protection during your turn, shielding your planeswalkers while you develop. The primary path to victory leverages counter multipliers such as Doubling Season and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider to trigger immediate planeswalker ultimates, notably Tevesh's -10 ability to seize all opposing commanders. Supported by a deep suite of black and green tutors, the deck reliably finds key combo pieces, board control edicts, and mass reanimation spells like Command the Dreadhorde. While lacking cheap blue countermagic, the deck compensates with layered recursion, high card velocity, and formidable combat presence.
