Deck overview

This deck is a Boros artifact stompy strategy that leverages Sami, Wildcat Captain to grant affinity for artifacts to every spell you cast. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost artifact cantrips, utility rocks, and artifact lands. These cheap permanents establish a high artifact count while keeping your hand full. By Turn 5, Sami enters the battlefield for minimal colored mana, instantly reducing the costs of high-impact colorless and artifact bombs. On Turn 6, the deck deploys massive threats such as Craterclaw Colossus, Depthshaker Titan, or Portal to Phyrexia for almost no mana. Craterclaw turns Sami into a lethal double-striking attacker while granting your entire artifact army trample and power buffs. The deck eliminates the most dangerous opponent on Turn 6 and finishes the remaining players on Turn 7. Secondary lines utilize mass recursion like Wake the Past to rebuild explosive boards after board wipes.
