Loki EDH by Sqweegle

Format: Commander

Commander: Loki, the Deceiver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Loki, the Deceiver is the engine of a Grixis Villain-tribal deck that wins by flooding the board with nonlegendary copies. Loki's attack trigger creates a temporary copy of another Villain; The Master, Multiplied acts as the hidden commander by stopping those tokens from being sacrificed. Secondary paths use clone spells, Sakashima, Mirror Box, and myriad effects to multiply cost reducers and buffs. The deck draws heavily from Villain combat damage and connive triggers, then closes with The Squadron Sinister and Doctor Octopus making an evasive, large army. Commander removal slows the plan, but the 99 can still cast, copy, and recur Villains without him.
