Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros combat aggro strategy commanded by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary game plan curves out with efficient non-Human creatures and token generators on turns 1 through 3, such as Ornithopter, Goldhound, and Dragon Fodder. On turn 4, casting Winota and attacking immediately triggers her ability multiple times, digging six cards deep per attacker to put heavy-hitting Human creatures directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. Key hits like Blade Historian, Angrath's Marauders, and Goldnight Commander drastically multiply combat damage. If the table cannot resolve a board wipe during their single response cycle, the turn 5 attack generates a massive second wave of triggers that overruns all three opponents. The deck relies heavily on commander synergy and high functional redundancy across its creature package, though it remains vulnerable to well-timed spot removal on Winota before attacks are declared.
