Commander: Captain Howler, Sea Scourge

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet discard-matters deck helmed by Captain Howler, Sea Scourge, built to convert every discard into a pumped attacker and a card draw. The core loop: discard cards to pump a creature +2/+0 each, swing for combat damage to draw, then discard those draws to pump again - accelerated into a one-turn kill by extra-combat spells (Fury of the Horde, Fear of Missing Out, Great Train Heist). The commander's ward-2 and 5/4 body make it the ideal target for its own pump. Secondary wins come from discard pings (Brallin, Skyshark Rider, Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, Monument to Endurance, Cool but Rude) and a massive Chandra's Ignition on a pumped creature. The deck leans on looting engines like Rielle, the Everwise, Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, and Artist's Talent to keep the discard fuel flowing.
