Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Mardu midrange aggro strategy commanded by Fire Lord Zuko. It leverages cards played from exile and permanents returning from exile to grow the entire team with +1/+1 counters while generating extra red mana during combat through the Firebending mechanic. The deck integrates impulse draw engines, such as Prosper, Tome-Bound, Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, and Tavern Brawler, with low-cost blink effects like Ephemerate and Cloudshift. These effects trigger Zuko multiple times per turn cycle. Once the board is established, combat enablers like Abzan Falconer, Isshin, Two Heavens as One, and extra-combat spells allow the deck to overwhelm opponents with large flying attackers and asymmetric board wipes like Damning Verdict and Ruinous Ultimatum.
