Deck overview

This Bant deck is helmed by Peter Parker // Amazing Spider-Man, aiming to exploit the web-slinging mechanic to cheat massive legendary creatures onto the battlefield at a severe discount. The early game focuses on deploying Peter Parker to establish a complimentary Spider token, followed by spending four mana to transform him into Amazing Spider-Man. Once transformed, any colored legendary spell can be cast for just {G}{W}{U} by bouncing a tapped creature back to hand. This allows high-impact bombs like Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Ghalta and Mavren, and Omega, Heartless Evolution to enter several turns ahead of curve. The mid-to-late game capitalizes on the sheer combat weight and token output of these legendary powerhouses, grinding down opposing life totals while utilizing targeted countermagic, protection spells, and spot removal to safeguard the board.
