Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Elemental tribal and reanimation strategy helmed by Horde of Notions, with Jegantha, the Wellspring as its companion. The primary game plan uses cheap mana dorks like Smokebraider and Bloom Tender to accelerate into five colors, bins utility Elementals via their evoke costs (Mulldrifter, Shriekmaw, Foundation Breaker), and reanimates them repeatedly using Horde of Notions for free. The deck transitions into a threatening board presence on Turn 6 with haymakers such as Maelstrom Wanderer, Phylath, World Sculptor, and Yarok, the Desecrated, closing the table through wide trample attacks with Rumbleweed by Turn 8. An untap combo with Faces of the Past and Jegantha provides an occasional alternate finish. The list excels at recurring card advantage and flexible permanent destruction, though its reliance on combat damage and lack of instant-speed countermagic leave it vulnerable to graveyard hate and board sweepers.
