Deck overview

This deck is a Jund sacrifice and token midrange strategy commanded by Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. It focuses on generating expendable artifact and creature tokens, especially Food, Treasures, and Insects, to fuel continuous card advantage and power growth. Early turns establish mana acceleration and token producers like Peregrin Took, Pippin, Warden of Isengard, and Witch's Oven. Deploying Korvold turns every sacrifice into card draw and +1/+1 counters, creating an imposing flying threat. Midgame powerhouses such as Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, Ygra, Eater of All, and Night of the Sweets' Revenge multiply the output of each sacrifice, converting tokens into massive mana bursts and wide board pumps. The deck closes games through lethal commander combat, direct damage from Ziatora, the Incinerator, or trample overruns with Craterclaw Colossus. While the engine recovers well from removal through reanimation, its primary vulnerability lies in limited stack protection for Korvold.
