The World's Inventor by Mr.Tea

Format: Commander

Commander: Jhoira, Ageless Innovator

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a value-oriented Izzet artifacts build helmed by Jhoira, Ageless Innovator. The primary game plan is to use Jhoira's tap ability to accumulate ingenuity counters, then cheat large artifacts from hand onto the battlefield. Untap effects (Thousand-Year Elixir, Patriar's Seal, Unwinding Clock, Corridor Monitor, Vizier of Tumbling Sands) allow multiple activations per turn cycle, accelerating the deployment of high-impact artifacts like Urza, Lord High Artificer, Mystic Forge, and Darksteel Forge. The deck generates card advantage through a suite of draw spells (Thoughtcast, Reverse Engineer, One with the Machine) and engines (Tezzeret, Artifice Master, Thopter Spy Network). It wins through combat damage from artifact creatures (Wurmcoil Engine, Steel Hellkite, Cyberdrive Awakener, Kappa Cannoneer) and incidental pings from Ingenious Artillerist. There are no infinite combos; the deck relies on overwhelming artifact synergy and board presence.
