Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Aura-control deck led by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. It uses cheap Auras to disable opposing creatures, prevent attacks, and increase the commander's end-step life drain. Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice, Sram, Senior Edificer, Kor Spiritdancer, and Hateful Eidolon turn Aura deployment into tutoring, cards, or creature growth. The deck can stabilize combat well when its Auras remain attached, and Torment of Scarabs adds recurring pressure against one opponent. Its main weakness is that the plan needs many permanents before the drain becomes decisive. The 32-land mana base and several tapped mana rocks make large turns inconsistent. Wound Reflection can double Eriette of the Charmed Apple's life loss, but it is expensive, exposed, and not reliably found alongside the commander and enough Auras. The deck therefore produces a meaningful midgame board and incremental advantage, but it lacks a compact, protected finish and has no dependable backup when Eriette of the Charmed Apple is unavailable.
