Deck overview

This Temur Dragon tribal deck is helmed by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, a powerful engine that creates a nonlegendary copy of each nontoken Dragon that enters the battlefield. The primary game plan involves ramping aggressively into Miirym, then deploying high-impact Dragons like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Old Gnawbone to generate multiple copies, overwhelming the table with ETB triggers, mana, and card advantage. The deck wins through combat damage from an army of Dragons, often accelerated by haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest, which also provides direct damage. Secondary win conditions include pinging opponents to death with Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas triggers, or using Twinflame Tyrant to double all damage. The deck is a high-power value engine that can quickly snowball out of control.
