Commander: The Scorpion God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Scorpion God leads a Rakdos -1/-1-counter attrition deck. The plan is to lace enemy boards with counters via the commander's activated ability, wither creatures, Soul-Scar Mage, and Everlasting Torment, then convert every death into cards through the God, Massacre Girl, Known Killer, and Necroskitter. Pinger enchantments like Pestilence and Pyrohemia act as repeatable sweepers and drain effects. The primary deterministic kill is the Blowfly Infestation + Nest of Scarabs + All Will Be One loop, with Torment of Hailfire and Damnable Pact as mana-sink finishers in attrition games. The 99 contains several "hidden commanders" that keep the strategy functional even if the God is stuck in the command zone.
