the great goblin by Jrod31089

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Orc tribal aggro deck helmed by The Great Goblin, who weaponizes the amass mechanic-every counter placed on a Goblin, Orc, or Army deals 2 damage-while converting goblin deaths into impulse card advantage. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap goblins, grow a massive Army token through the dense amass package, and close the game through combat buffed by Shared Animosity, Dralnu's Crusade, and goblin lords. The commander functions as the deck's engine rather than its win condition: he rewards the deck's natural amass and death triggers with burn and card flow, but the swarm can still execute without him. Secondary reach comes from Mirkwood Bats, Boggart Cursecrafter, Goblin Bombardment, and the game-ending triple damage of Isengard Unleashed. The deck contains no infinite combos, winning through overwhelming swarm combat and repeated ping triggers.
