"Limit Break" Precon Upgrade (with only Final Fantasy Cards!) by user2482068

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Naya Equipment Voltron deck is helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, a hasted 4/4 whose attack trigger draws cards and, when power hits 7+, creates two Treasures. The core plan is to suit Cloud up with cheap equipment that pushes him to 7 power, then chain extra combats via Tifa, Martial Artist and Genji Glove to overwhelm opponents with repeated commander damage and Treasure generation. The 99 is packed with equipment payoffs, cost reducers, and redundant legends that either tutor equipment (Cloud, Midgar Mercenary) or put it directly onto the battlefield (Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms). Secondary win conditions include the Hellkite Tyrant artifact-dense victory and the sheer inevitability of a hasted, double-striking, unblockable commander that generates value with every swing. The deck does not rely on nfinite combos; its speed and resilience come from combat tempo and protection leathers like Lighning Greaves and Champion's Helm.
