Deck overview

This deck is a competitive cEDH Winota build that merges explosive creature aggro with asymmetric stax. The primary plan leverages 0-1 CMC non-Human creatures and format-ceiling fast mana to deploy Winota, Joiner of Forces on Turn 2 or 3. Declaring attacks triggers Winota, digging six cards deep per attacker to put game-warping Humans directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. These hits assemble oppressive locks through Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, and Magus of the Moon, or explode into massive double-strike damage with Blade Historian. Opponents are rapidly choked out of resources and interaction while Winota snowballs the board into an overwhelming combat finish or an infinite combo via Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts by Turn 4.
