Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dragon tribal stompy strategy helmed by The Ur-Dragon. Rather than spreading across all five colors evenly, the mana base heavily focuses on red, utilizing basic Mountains, Treasures, and color-fixing rocks to consistently deploy massive flying beaters ahead of curve. The engine relies on cost reduction from eminence, Dragonlord's Servant, and Dragonspeaker Shaman, transitioning into midgame threats like Goldspan Dragon and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Lethality peaks around Turn 6 with game-ending aerial bombs such as Utvara Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, and Scourge of Valkas, which overwhelm opponents through simultaneous combat damage and direct damage triggers. The list features strong internal resilience due to eminence never being permanently removable, although it remains susceptible to well-timed board wipes and lacks stack interaction against faster combo strategies.
