Deck overview

This Boros deck is an exhibition build centered on Thorin Oakenshield and the legendary Dwarves of Erebor from The Hobbit. The strategy establishes early board presence with aggressive, low-mana Dwarves and cheap Equipment, quickly meeting the Storied requirement to grant the entire team ward protection. Midgame turns leverage powerful tribal payoffs like Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and Bruenor Battlehammer to convert small attackers into lethal threats. While the list avoids fast mana and infinite combos to preserve its thematic identity, it generates steady Treasure velocity through Magda, Brazen Outlaw and combat triggers. Protective spells such as The Eagles Are Coming! and Concerted Care help the army survive removal, allowing the deck to close games through successive combat phases and Aggravated Assault lines.
