Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color midrange strategy commanded by Michelangelo, the Heart and Leonardo, the Balance. It synergizes token creation with team-wide +1/+1 counter distribution. Michelangelo attacks early to generate Food tokens and place counters, which triggers Leonardo to buff every creature you control once per turn. The deck scales its board presence using token generators like Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Tendershoot Dryad, reinforced by token multipliers like Doubling Season and Parallel Lives. Mana acceleration from Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Enduring Vitality turns your wide token board into substantial mana velocity. To close games, the deck pivots into decisive combat finishers such as Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Beastmaster Ascension, and Cathars' Crusade, alongside direct damage triggers from Impact Tremors, Mirkwood Bats, and All Will Be One. It provides a resilient, go-wide game plan that overwhelms opponents through escalating combat pressure.
