Commander: Brenard, Ginger Sculptor

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Bant token deck uses Brenard, Ginger Sculptor as a recursion engine and anthem, turning every dying creature into a 1/1 Food Golem copy with its enter-the-battlefield abilities. The primary plan is to flood the board with Golem and Food tokens via Splicers, Armada Wurm, and Avenger of Zendikar, then multiply them with doublers such as Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives, and Mondrak. The commander's buff gives the token swarm trample and +2/+2, and Craterhoof Behemoth provides the final alpha strike. The deck includes numerous alternate token doublers and value creatures, so it functions without the commander, though his recursive ability is a powerful value engine when active.
