Format: Commander

Commander: Plargg and Nassari

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-red exile-cast value deck. Plargg and Nassari is not a combo but an upkeep engine: each player exiles until a nonland, an opponent chooses one of the resulting nonland cards, and you may cast up to two of the other exiled cards for free. The deck maximizes that ability with Stolen Strategy, Wild Wasteland, Party Thrasher, River Song's Diary, and every other "play from exile" effect. The primary finish converts free casts into damage and board presence through Keeper of Secrets, Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Nalfeshnee, Wild-Magic Sorcerer, and Rite of the Dragoncaller. Secondary paths are goading into combat (Disrupt Decorum, Taunting Kobold, Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs) and ritual bursts (Jeska's Will, Mana Geyser, Dance with Calamity). There is no double-faced commander; the deck's hidden payoff engine is Nalfeshnee backed by Wild-Magic Sorcerer.
