The Watchtower by Arkhaos

Format: Commander

Commander: The Sentry, Golden Guardian

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-white Equipment/Aura voltron deck built around The Sentry, Golden Guardian. The plan is to stick the commander, use its flying, vigilance, and indestructible to create an extremely durable Equipment platform, and then leverage a dense free-attach package - Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Hammer of Nazahn, and Forge Anew - to suit up without spending mana. Card flow comes from Sram, Senior Edificer, Armored Skyhunter, and combat-draw Equipment like Mask of Memory and Buster Sword. The primary kill is combat damage: Genji Glove grants double strike and a same-turn extra combat, while Super State plus Inquisitor's Flail can spread lethal damage across the table in a single turn. Backup carriers such as Balan, Wandering Knight and Zetalpa, Primal Dawn keep the game plan intact if the commander is answered.
