Format: Commander

Commander: Tellah, Great Sage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tellah, Great Sage leads an Izzet spellslinger deck that uses high-mana noncreature spells to generate Hero tokens, card advantage, and a finishing burn. The core plan is to ramp, cast large draw or burn spells, and eventually sacrifice Tellah to deal lethal damage to all opponents. Secondary value comes from token producers and damage amplifiers like City on Fire or Dictate of the Twin Gods. The deck has strong card draw and a good counterspell suite but lacks dedicated graveyard interaction and struggles against Rule of Law effects.
