This Esper deck leverages The Ur-Sphinx's Eminence ability to discount heavy Sphinx creatures from the command zone. Early turns focus on establishing mana velocity through two-mana rocks, Medallions, and cost reducers like Heartless Summoning and Urza's Incubator. By Turn 4, the deck transitions into high-gear card advantage engines via Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign or Consecrated Sphinx. The critical onset hits on Turn 5, deploying Magister Sphinx to instantly drop an opponent's life total or casting The Ur-Sphinx to mill opponents and cast their spells for free on attack. Supported by an efficient Esper suite of counterspells, spot removal, and asymmetric board wipes like Kindred Dominance, the deck protects its board while flying over ground defenses to eliminate opponents by Turn 7.
