Deck overview

Gev, Scaled Scorch is a midrange burn-and-token commander. The deck wins by making sure at least one opponent loses life each turn-through pingers, Gev's own Lizard cast trigger, or attacks-so Gev's anthem turns every creature into a larger threat. Impact Tremors, Molten Gatekeeper, Agate Instigator, and similar effects convert each creature that enters into extra damage. Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin and Siege-Gang Commander provide wide boards, while Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest and Collective Inferno supply late-game bursts. There is no hidden commander or double-faced card; Gev's single face is the build-around, but the deck can still operate if he is absent.
