The evil dead!!! by Skulker

Format: Commander

Commander: Varina, Lich Queen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Varina, Lich Queen anchors a graveyard-centric Esper Zombie deck. The primary plan is to attack with Zombies, drawing and discarding through Varina's trigger to fill the graveyard and create tokens, while Bone Miser, Cryptbreaker, Raffine, and Lolth provide extra velocity. The fastest finish is an infinite loop: Warren Soultrader plus Gravecrawler plus Wayward Servant generates a life-gain and drain loop, while Phyrexian Altar plus any drain payoff is an alternative. Combat with flying Zombies and Living Death mass reanimation are secondary paths. There is no true hidden commander; Raffine and other legends are supporting engines. Varina is a powerful draw and token engine, but the main combo lines do not require her.
