Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant commands a Sultai dual-tribal midrange deck that unites Elf mana acceleration with Faerie flash-speed synergy. The deck establishes early board presence on turns 1 to 3 with efficient mana dorks and token generators like Llanowar Elves, Bitterbloom Bearer, and Priest of Titania. Casting Maralen on turn 4 unlocks a potent theft engine: every entering Elf or Faerie exiles cards from opponents' libraries, allowing one free cast each turn based on your creature count. Flash enablers like High Fae Trickster and instant token makers let you steal spells during each opponent's turn. Asymmetric board control from High Perfect Morcant and Kindred Dominance clears opposing paths while preserving your army. Between turns 6 and 8, the deck delivers lethal combat damage via Banner of Kinship and evasive flyers, protected by Selfless Safewright and Glen Elendra's Answer.
