Deck overview

This Esper deck is helmed by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, focusing on manipulating the top of the library to cheat high-mana odd spells directly onto the battlefield when Yennett attacks. The deck uses low-cost ramp, selective card filtering, and topdeck engines like Sensei's Divining Top, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, and Doom Whisperer to ensure consistent hits. Once Yennett attacks, she deploys devastating game-warping payoffs such as Void Winnower, Expropriate, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse. These threats apply oppressive stax, clear opposing boards, take extra turns, and deal overwhelming combat damage. As a secondary win condition, the deck features a compact Demonic Consultation or Doomsday line with Laboratory Maniac. Strong interaction, taxing engines, and solid recovery make this an explosive and resilient battlecruiser-control strategy.
