Deck overview

This Esper deck is led by Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima and focuses on a combat tempo strategy centered around lone attackers. By attacking with a single creature each turn, Jin allows the pilot to grant that creature either double strike or unblockability while drawing cards on combat damage. The deck leverages efficient evasive threats, combat triggers, and high-impact attackers like Unstoppable Slasher, Necropolis Regent, and Zetalpa, Primal Dawn to dismantle opposing life totals one by one. To support this sequential combat plan, the list runs a robust pillowfort shell featuring Propaganda, Collective Restraint, and Norn's Annex to prevent return swings. An efficient suite of interaction—including free countermagic like Force of Negation and Flare of Denial, premium spot removal, and potent board protection such as Teferi's Protection and Dawn's Truce—ensures the pilot can defend their threats and dictate the pace of the game.
