Deck overview

This Grixis deck pilots Obeka, Splitter of Seconds as a value-engine commander, leveraging her Menace and ability to grant extra upkeep steps each time she deals combat damage. The core plan clogs the board with numerous upkeep-triggered permanents - suspend cards, As Foretold, Court enchantments, Braid of Fire, and incremental damage sources - then accelerates their payoffs by chaining multiple upkeeps per turn. The deck is a slow, resilient attrition engine that eventually overwhelms opponents through sheer card advantage and pinging effects (Court of Embereth, Quakebringer, Creeping Bloodsucker). Secondary lines include cheating out high-CMC threats via suspend and recursion via Sheoldred, Whispering One and Palace Siege. It has no deterministic infinite combos, instead winning through gradual board dominance.
