Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Lizard tribal aggro and burn engine led by Gev, Scaled Scorch. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Gev on Turn 2, then casting a steady sequence of low-mana Lizards. Every Lizard spell cast triggers Gev to ping an opponent, which immediately satisfies the life-loss condition to enter creatures with bonus +1/+1 counters. The deck accelerates damage using tribal amplifiers like Valley Flamecaller and damage-sharing effects such as Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. While the early curve is fast and consistent, the deck relies on combat damage and direct burn to eliminate opponents sequentially rather than executing infinite combos. Its interaction package is rich in creature removal but lacks answers to enchantments and sweepers, making board preservation its main challenge.
