Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul animation stompy strategy led by Bello, Bard of the Brambles. It converts high-cost, non-Equipment artifacts and non-Aura enchantments with mana value 4 or greater into 4/4 Elemental creatures during your turn. Bello grants these permanents haste, indestructible, and a card-draw trigger upon connecting with combat damage. The primary game plan focuses on deploying 2-CMC ramp spells early to assemble Bello alongside 4-drop value permanents like Hedron Archive or Esika's Chariot by Turn 4. From there, the deck compounds board presence and card velocity, layering damage multipliers such as Gratuitous Violence, Berserkers' Onslaught, and Unnatural Growth. On Turn 6, the deck initiates a lethal clock, swinging with multiple indestructible 4/4s and 8/8s that draw cards to refuel. It closes out the table by Turn 8 across two opponent response cycles. If Bello is removed, high-end stompy threats like Etali, Primal Storm and Ghalta, Primal Hunger provide an independent backup plan.
